IIRRT Council Executive Professional Support Officer Role (Part-time, fixed term)

The Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation Therapy (IIRRT) is the professional body representing radiographers and radiation therapists in the Republic of Ireland. The function of the IIRRT is to encourage, foster and maintain the highest possible standards in the practice of Radiography and Radiation Therapy.

The IIRRT have a part-time Executive Professional Support Officer position for an enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer/Radiation Therapist to support the IIRRT Council Executive in its operations and delivering on its strategic goals and objectives.  The post holder will form part of the Council’s operational support team and will not form part of the Council Executive itself.

Applicants must have met the following criteria by the closing date indicated below to qualify:

  • Be registered on either the Radiography or Radiation Therapy Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board of CORU
  • Have not less than a minimum of 6 years full-time (or an aggregate of 6 years) post-graduate clinical experience
  • Possesses a minimum of 10 postgraduate ECTS credits or equivalent in a relevant speciality as recognised by the IIRRT
  • Be a member of the IIRRT

This position is for an initial fixed term 1-year contract length which may be extended.
