Return to Practice

During their career, a Diagnostic Radiographer/Radiation Therapist may take a break from clinical work and not practise in their profession for a period. CORU’s return to practice requirements apply to anyone who has not practised in their profession for more than two years. A process of updating or re-familiarisation may be required to ensure the safety of both the registrant and the patients or service users in their care.

This process applies equally to those who are applying to the register for the first time or for those seeking restoration to the register. Further information on this process is available on the CORU website:
