Medica Group is the market leader in the provision of teleradiology and managed radiology services to the UK and Ireland. We are now recruiting for a Clinical Specialist Radiographer in MRI to join our growing permanent Radiology team at VHI360 Carrickmines preferably on a full-time basis.

As the MRI Clinical Specialist in the site, in addition to your duties as an active MRI radiographer within the practice, key responsibilities include:

  • To manage, plan, organise and co-ordinate all aspects of the MRI service
  • Act as the lead radiographer and point of contact for MRI service and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Ensure patient workflows are optimal for MRI in order to minimise patient waiting times and improve patient experience.
  • Develop, implement and maintain standard operating procedures for MRI services and associated policies and documents to ensure that high quality diagnostics images are delivered.
  • Work closely with the Radiology Services Manager(s) in implementing and maintaining the relevant accreditation standards within the MRI service and play a lead role in preparing for accreditation surveys and site-visits.

Requirements:

Certifications & Qualifications

  • Diagnostic Radiography degree.
  • Minimum 6 years of General Radiography experience.

Essential

  • Be a registered member of CORU.
  • 3+ years of clinical experience in MRI. • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • An ability to work independently.
  • Dynamic, highly motivated and dedicated to delivering the highest standards of clinical practice.
  • Experience in compliance with organisational policies, procedures and protocols including Quality Assurance and Key Performance Indicators.

Desirable

  • Masters in Magnetic Resonance Imaging or equivalent.
