St. James’s Private Radiology Group is seeking experienced and motivated Radiographers to join our dedicated team across CT and Ultrasound. St. James’s Private Radiology Group is a privately owned outpatient diagnostic imaging provider offering a comprehensive range of services, including CT, ultrasound, mammography, and DXA scanning. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standard of care to our patients, supported by a close-knit, collaborative team with direct radiologist support available at all times.
The Roles
We are recruiting radiographers in both CT and Ultrasound at Senior Radiographer and Clinical Specialist Radiographer (CSR) level, depending on the experience of the successful candidates. You will take a lead role in the day-to-day operation of our CT or ultrasound services, working within a welcoming team environment and contributing to the continued development and improvement of our service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the efficient daily operation of CT or Ultrasound services, including patient scheduling and waiting list management
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational policies, protocols, and guidelines in line with international best practice
- Support ongoing service development and quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in clinical audit, risk management, and health and safety programmes
- Assist in the preventive maintenance and QA programme for imaging equipment
- Support the induction and development of new team members
- Engage in the complaints and incident review process as required
Requirements
- BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Postgraduate qualification in CT and/or Ultrasound desirable (not essential)
- Minimum 4 years clinical CT or Ultrasound experience
- Current CORU registration
- IV cannulation experience (for CT candidates)
