As you know,Β RadiographyΒ is the official scientific journal of the European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS), and we are delighted to share an exciting opportunity with our member societies and educational institutions.
The Editor-in-Chief ofΒ Radiography, Dr. Jonathan McNulty, has announced the launch of two new Editorial Fellowships:
  • A Society and College of Radiographers (SCoR) Editorial Fellowship
  • AnΒ EFRS Editorial Fellowship
We would like to particularly highlight the EFRS Editorial Fellowship, open exclusively to individuals affiliated with an EFRS member society or an EFRS Educational Wing institution.
This Fellowship aims to:
  • Develop editorial skills such as manuscript evaluation, peer review, and journal outreach
  • Offer mentorship by the Editor-in-Chief and Associate Editors
  • Strengthen the pipeline of future International Advisory Board (IAB) and Editorial Board members
  • Support project work that could lead to conference presentations and publications
  • Provide a framed Fellowship Certificate, an annual honorarium (€500), and support for international conference attendance
Key Information:
  • Term: 2 years (starting July 2025)

Application Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of clinical, teaching, or research experience post-graduation
  • Proof of membership of an EFRS member society
  • Endorsement from the national society or head of department (for EW institutions)
  • Preference for applicants with prior peer-reviewed publications and/or peer-reviewing experience
