The IIRRT are delighted to enter into two new partnerships for 2017:
The IIRRT and Society of Radiographers (SCoR) are delighted to collaborate with the announcement that Radiography is now officially an IIRRT affiliated Journal.
AND
The IIRRT and Cambridge University Press have also joined forces and would like to announce that the Journal of Radiotherapy in Practice is now officially an IIRRT affiliated Journal.
Radiography is essential reading for diagnostic and therapeutic radiographers, medical radiation technologists and radiologic technologists as well as for radiography educators and students. The Journal promotes evidence-based practice by disseminating high quality clinical, scientific and educational research related to all aspects of diagnostic and therapeutic radiography. It publishes research articles, systematic and narrative reviews, editorials and letters of international relevance that advance knowledge and encourage innovation within radiography. Papers can be submitted to the Journal via this link.
The Journal of Radiotherapy in Practice publishes quality research articles which stimulate debate and reflection in and on practice in the field of radiotherapy and oncology. Journal of Radiotherapy in Practice includes research findings, technical evaluations, review articles, and in addition provides for the exchange of information and views on all professional radiotherapy issues including education. The Journal includes authors and a target audience from the professions who are involved in the planning, delivery and care of the radiotherapy patient and the lecturers involved in radiotherapy education and training. These include: oncologists, medical physicists, medical physics technicians, Macmillan radiographers, oncology support services radiographers, and nurses, and equipment applications specialists. To ensure that the Journal work closely with the IIRRT, the IIRRT president has been invited and has accepted to become a member of the Journal’s Editorial Board.
From Wednesday 15th February 2017, all IIRRT members will be able to access Radiography and Journal of Radiotherapy in Practice and their full archive. Direct access to both Journal’s content is available through the member’s section of the IIRRT web page. You will need to log-in to the member section using your membership number and password. You will see a tab titled “Journals” on the left-hand side, click on this to access the full text of both Journals.
We hope that IIRRT members will see both journals as an outlet for their research.
