My CPD Record

The IIRRT has produced this personal CPD record to facilitate members in the maintenance of CPD records and the calculation of CPD points. The personal record is subdivided into 4 CPD categories which cover the full range of professional, clinical and academic CPD activity.

Members are required to maintain evidence to support their CPD claims. The IIRRT recommends that each Radiographer / Radiation Therapist keeps a CPD portfolio.  This could be as simple as a ring binder in which the member stores evidence of CPD participation, e.g., certificates of attendance, copies of published journal articles, university subject transcripts etc. To assist members in engaging in reflective practice this simple form can be downloaded and completed and added to personal portfolios.

Radiographers and Radiation Therapists who successfully achieve the minimum requirement of 10 CPD points per two year period will receive a CPD confirmation certificate from the IIRRT. Members who have achieved 10 CPD points and wish to receive the IIRRT CPD confirmation certificate should submit their CPD personal record and CPD portfolio to:

All members who have received the IIRRT CPD confirmation certificate will be entered into a draw for two free registrations at the Annual Conference of the Irish Institute of Radiography and Radiation Therapy.
