IIRRT CPD Officer (18/4/12)
Applications are being invited for the role of IIRRT CPD Officer. This role, which can be on either a part time or full time basis, is for an enthusiastic and motivated Radiographer/Radiation Therapist to further develop the IIRRT CPD programme for Radiographers and Radiation Therapists.
Applicants must have a degree in Radiography/Radiation Therapy or equivalent, a minimum of 6 years post-graduate experience and preferably a member of the IIRRT. This position is initially a 2 year, fixed-term contract position. Salary will be based on the HSE Clinical Specialist Radiographer scale (€ 49,591 – €58,758).

Hermitage Clinic: Senior Radiation Therapists (2/4/12)
The Hermitage Medical Clinic, Dublin is a centre focused on patient centered care. It is located on a green site on the outer side of Dublin with excellent transport links.
The Radiotherapy centre is an Elekta based centre with IGRT and IMRT as standard. In the coming year the addition of a Cyberknife to our department will lead to exciting developments for staff.
We are searching for dynamic Senior Radiation therapists. You will join our team of staff in providing optimal care to our patients in a department equipped with modern technologies.
Dublin is a thriving city with theaters, nightlife, restaurants and lot more. For the active sole the countryside and coasts are on your doorstep.
Essential Criteria:
- BSc in Radiotherapy or equivalent qualification
- Have had at least three years satisfactory post qualification experience
- Clinical experience of all aspects of radiotherapy
Desirable Criteria:
- Validation by the IIRRT
- Experience at senior level
- Experience in Cyberknife and Stereotactic radiotherapy
- Experience in xvi/cone beam IGRT
